Let It Flow embodies a journey of self-transformation through six dynamic sculptures in various stages of metamorphosis. Each piece expresses the ongoing tension between holding on and letting go, mirroring the process of personal transformation.

The project was undertaken during my residency at the European Ceramic Work Center in the Netherlands, where I explored metamorphosis through formal and material experimentation.

The sculptures were crafted by extruding clay bodies with a custom-made, transformable 3D-printed template, allowing seamless transitions between square and round forms. The work also experiments with the boundary between clay and glaze within a single form, emphasizing a shift in material states that mirrors the transformation from one identity or state of being into another. The concept of self is portrayed as both familiar and resilient, yet elusive. Let It Flow delves into the shift from rigidity to boundless energy and the unknown, capturing my exploration of self amidst changing boundaries, challenging assumptions, and embracing transformation.

I draw on personal narratives that reflect broader collective experiences. Let It Flow continues this exploration by embracing the unknown through the organic movement of materials, creating a visual and metaphorical flow that connects personal transformation with broader societal shifts.
